The Formula1 hero of the current generation, the man who used to be in the news everytime there is a race has retired from motor racing
But his last race was a memorable one for me and every Schumi fan. He just drove with such determination, started 10th after a fuel pressure problem in qualifying then moved into position6 and then to p5 where he had a tyre puncture, was forced into the pits rejoined at last place and with his fierce driving ended the race at p4. If he had not been blocked by Fisicella and Kimi for those few laps he would have definitely been on the podium at brazil, his last ever F1 race.
Schumacher will be replaced by Kimi Raikkonen at Ferrari and check these cool comments from him at autosport
Q. If you had one dollar to bet on the world championship next year, would you put it on Kimi Raikkonen or Felipe Massa?
MS: I don’t bet
Q. Michael, any regrets in your career?
MS: I think it is pretty clear that if you have a chance to do certain things twice in life, you may do them different.
Fueled by a burning desire to win, he always drove for the win no matter where he starts on the grid.
I have been following F1 from a very recent time and it seems that I have missed a lot really a lot of Schumacher. The only miracle I would expect to happen now is Schumacher returning to F1 next season
but he seems to be firm about his decision
Q. Is your retirement decision final, or can we expect a comeback to racing like Mika Hakkinen and Niki Lauda. Also, can you envisage what you will with your life outside of racing?
MS: Yes, I don’t make a decision if I don’t think I need to make a decision. My decision has been taken, it has been expressed, so there is no reason to change that decision. What is going to be my life afterwards? I don’t know. I have told many times that I don’t feel like I should know
Please comeback Schumi :P, we are praying for you!
